  1. WOW that was super duper fast!!! How long does it take to get your son?

  2. This is approx an 18 month process. No time is ever guaranteed. Its somewhat up in the air, just depending on a lot of things. But 18 months or longer would be a pretty good estimate.

  3. Hi! If you are able, could you explain a bit more about your adoption? I don't know much about the Ethopian process, but it looks like they pair you with a child/children pretty late in the process? Do you know anything about the orphanage you will be adopting from or the type of child you'll be matched with?

I'm shopping through your JustLove store for Christmas gifts, and I really like to be able to include with each gift a bit about the kids and family the gift is helping, and why help is so desperately needed for these little ones. If you have any specifics about the child you will be adopting (for instance, if you are asking for special needs, or HIV, older children etc), or the conditions of the orphanage, or anything I can pass on to help make the need known and better understood, I would love to be able to do so. I can provide you with my email address if that would be preferable too :)

    Thanks!

    1. Rachael - Thanks so much for your interest and for shopping our online store!

For us specifically we request a boy under the age of 1 yr. The wait times vary per the requests of the families. But right now we are planning to wait around 24 months for a referral. We will receive a referral later on in the process, as it is such a long wait time. If you would like to get more information than this - please check out our the information for Ethiopia on our agency's website.

I am sorry, we dont have information on the orphanage at this time, and wont have that information until we receive our referral.

Also I sell Thirty One, and if you would like to purchase Thirty One products I can put the profit from those sales towards our adoption costs as well. My website is www.mythirtyone.com/brittnihuff if you would like to order online! I appreciate you doing your christmas shopping to benefit others! We too have started this -this Christmas and it is so exciting! :)
Let me know if you have any more questions!

      Blessings,
      Brittni
